At Rec Room Wellness, our programs are designed to meet you where you are — virtually and in person — with experiences rooted in community, relaxation, and mental health education.

Monthly Free Community Events

When: First Saturday of every month, 8:00 PM
Where: Online (with rotating themed experiences)
What to Expect:
Joy-filled events focused on connection, play, and peer support. These sessions may include open mics, games, group sharing circles, and creative expression activities.

Weekly Virtual Wellness Events

When: Every week (multiple sessions a week)
Where: Online
What to Expect:
A mix of guided mindfulness sessions, emotional check-ins, wellness chats, peer support groups, and creative workshops. These sessions provide consistent mental health support and a safe space for self-expression.

Monthly In-Person Events

When: Once a month (announced via community calendar)
Where: Various locations across Lagos
What to Expect:
Casual, in-person gatherings for laughter, learning, movement, and deep connection. These events may include picnics, wellness walks, art jams, and themed meetups.

Mental Wellness Courses

Available Courses:

  • Summer Mental Resilience Course for Teenagers – Helps teens build emotional strength, self-awareness, and coping skills through interactive sessions.
    Format:
    A combination of live virtual classes, self-paced resources, and reflection activities.

Outreach Events

What We Do:
Rec Room brings tailored mental wellness education to youth in schools, religious organizations, correctional facilities, and more. These outreach efforts include workshops, storytelling sessions, emotional literacy games, and safe space discussions.
Goal:
To provide tools for emotional resilience, stress management, and social support.
